Springbrook Mountain is situated in the hinterland of the Gold Coast, Australia. It is approximately 45 minutes drive from the Gold Coast and about 1.5 hours drive from Brisbane.

Road Access
The mountain is accessible via two sealed roads – one via Nerang and one via Mudgeeraba. The Nerang-Murwillumbah Rd (reached via Exit 69 from the M1) is about 5 km longer but is wider and less exposed than the road from Mudgeeraba, Gold Coast-Springbrook Rd. This road (Exit 79 from the M1) is quite narrow in places with a one way stretch and 2 one way bridges. It has some exposed sections with steep slopes.

There is no through road access to Tallebudgera or NSW from Springbrook Mountain.

Public Transport and Petrol
There is no public transport to Springbrook Mountain. You cannot buy petrol on the mountain. The nearest petrol is at Mudgeeraba or Nerang. It is advisable that you have a full tank before exploring the mountain.

The nearest train station is at Robina. It connects to both the Brisbane domestic and international airports.
